Note: You must set the memory card's write protect switch to LOCK before inserting the card into the Sonnet adapter.
This occurs only in some older MacBook Pros. The temporary solution is to turn on the write protect switch on the SD media. Sonnet is working on a permanent solution. This problem does not occur in the latest Thunderbolt-equipped MacBook Pro.
