| Sonnet FireWire/USB ExpressCard/34 will not sleep in a MacBook Pro with a mounted USB device. | May-07-09 | | This issue was fixed in Rev. A cards, which began shipping in December 2008. If you don't have a Rev. A card, an attempt to put a MacBook Pro to sleep with a Sonnet FireWire/USB ExpressCard/34 will result in the computer automatically coming out of sleep about 5 seconds after going into sleep. The solution is to either (1) unmount and disconnect any attached USB devices before sleep, or (2) power off and remove card before sleep. | |

According to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5630, "The Apple USB SuperDrive is compatible with Mac models from 2008 and later that don't have a built-in optical drive." | |
