We did a test installation with a QNAP TS-1685, and two Sonnet Solo10G's on Thunderbolt 3 iMacs and a brand new Netgear XS716 10G switch. We were only getting about 160 MB/sec read, even thought we were using macOS 10.13.6 (which disables SMB Signing), and we enabled Jumbo Frames in the Macs, the Netgear and the QNAP. We plugged the Sonnet directly into the QNAP, and instantly got 1000 MB/sec. We did a "factory default" reset on the Netgear XS716T, and the "problem" was solved.
