You can connect a four-port USB hub (or device with an internal USB hub) to any of the Dock’s USB ports. You cannot connect a hub (or device with an internal USB hub) that has more than four USB ports. The USB specification does not permit another level of cascaded hubs. You may connect a hub with more than 4 ports to a Thunderbolt port.
