| On a Mac, how do I play protected streaming video, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc.? | Jun-19-23 |
| Whenever a DisplayLink Adapter is connected to a Mac computer, macOS Digital Rights Management protection software prevents Apple’s TV app from showing any video content. Streaming content, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc, can instead be viewed using the Google Chrome browser. To watch protected streaming video, you need to configure and use the Chrome browser as follows…
1. Go to Chrome Settings.
2. Search for “hardware” .
3. Disable “Use hardware acceleration when available”
4. Restart Chrome. |

| I updated to macOS 10.15 and my DisplayLink devices stopped working | Sep-03-23 |
| DisplayLink Manager 5.2 software is designed to run on Mac OS 10.15, but the OS can disable the kernel extension during the update. Please check the kernel extension is enabled and screen recording is also enabled, to ensure DisplayLink enabled devices continue to work when migrating to 10.15. |
