| Mac OS 9 Users: In Mac OS 9.x, open up the hard drive partition with Mac OS X installed on it. From there, open up the System/Library/Extensions folder, find the file named, OMI_EHCI.KEXT. Take that file and drag it to the Trash and empty it. This will remove the driver that activates the USB 2.0 capabilities of the Tempo Trio under Mac OS X, returning its USB function to the 1.1 standard.
Mac OS X Users: In Mac OS X, log in as the Root user. Once at the desktop, open up the System/Library/Extensions folder, find the file named, OMI_EHCI.KEXT. Take that file and drag it to the Trash and empty it. This will remove the driver that activates the USB 2.0 capabilities of the Tempo Trio under OS X, returning its USB function to the 1.1 standard.
Drivers are no longer supplied with this card as USB 2.0 support was built into 10.2.8 and later. |
