	Our testing has shown that a four-drive array will sustain maximum reads and writes of about 200 MB/second in a 64bit, 33MHz PCI slot. An eight-drive array will not provide any additional performance beyond that of a four-drive array in that slot. To get significantly more performance, you need to use a machine with a PCI-X slot.

174		Drive(s) connected to the Tempo-X SATA 4+4 occasionally do not appear when the computer is booted or an error message regarding the RAID array connected to the Tempo-X SATA 4+4 is occasionally displayed at boot up, and the RAID array cannot be used.	May-07-09
	A very small number of Tempo-X SATA 4+4 users have reported a condition in which connected drives installed in an external case intermittently do not appear when their computer is booted. To address this issue, update the Tempo-X SATA 4+4 card's firmware to version 1.0.1 or later by downloading and running the latest Tempo-X firmware updater.

219		With a Tempo-X SATA host controller installed and drives connected, the computer locks up and will not respond to keyboard or mouse input, and must be forced to power off (press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds) then restarted.	May-07-09
