Description: This software includes the latest flash bundle (v2012_05_21), driver (v4.01), and Configuration Tool (v4.07) software for the R380 RAID controller card included with Fusion D400RAID, D800RAID, DX800RAID, R800RAID, and RX1600RAID (part number FUS-RX16SR-xxTB) storage systems.

Release Notes:
• This flash bundle release fixes an issue where the ConfigTool application would not save NVRAM settings, fixes an issue where the ConfigTool application would incorrectly warn that NVRAM settings were not saved, and fixes a cryptic "HBA Internal Error" message displayed during an attempted rebuild of an invalid RAID group.
• This driver release updates the fan controller daemon for improved operation, and updates the memory allocation for x64 platforms for compatibility with OS X 10.8.2 and later. This driver installer has been updated to support GateKeeper for OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).
• This Configuration Tool release adds OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) support.

Important Note: Update the Sonnet RAID controller with the latest version of the firmware before installing the operating system driver. Use the latest version of the Configuration Tool application to make these updates.

Sonnet engineering has fixed this issue with some Fusion storage systems. This issue was addressed and fixed as follows:

APRIL, 2008: in Fusion D400Q and Fusion D500P systems with serial numbers beginning with J.
MAY 20, 2008: In Fusion D800RAID with serial numbers beginning with G.
All versions of Fusion R400Q and R800RAID are compatible with Seagate ES.2 Drives.

Note: Seagate ES.2 drives have lower performance than Sonnet recommended drives.
 
202 Under Mac OS X 10.5.6, the PCI Express Expansion Slot Utility (early Mac Pro) always reports 8x, 1x, 1x, 16x no matter how its set.May-06-09
The bus lanes actually get set correctly under Mac OS X 10.5.6 but they are not reported correctly in the Expansion Slot Utility. The actual settings can be verified by booting under another version of Mac OS X. Sonnet has filed a bug report with Apple.
