Operating System Requirements: macOS 10.10+ Description: This software includes the latest flash bundle, driver, and ConfigTool application software for the Sonnet 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID controller card (ATTO R680) included with Fusion DX800RAID, Fusion DX800RAID Thunderbolt Edition, and Fusion RX1600RAID (part number FUS-RX16S6-xxTB) storage systems.
Important Notes:
• You must update your OS to at least OS X 10.10.5
• You must update the your RAID controller card's flash bundle and driver software before using the latest Configuration Tool application.
With a RAID 5 or 6 group: set Speed Read to Always; set Interleave to 1MB; set Prefetch to 6. Also make sure the RAID controller is in an x8 or faster slot.
The default drive timeout Fusion RAID systems is 30 seconds. The default is generally the best, but may be insufficient for some Seagate drives, which in rare instances may not respond within a 30 second timeout and consequently appear as degraded. If you are using Seagate drives, Sonnet recommends setting the timeout to 60 seconds, with the CLI command, "set raidcommandtimeout 60000".
