| Sonnet FireWire/USB ExpressCard/34 will not sleep in a MacBook Pro with a mounted USB device. | May-07-09 |
| This issue was fixed in Rev. A cards, which began shipping in December 2008. If you don't have a Rev. A card, an attempt to put a MacBook Pro to sleep with a Sonnet FireWire/USB ExpressCard/34 will result in the computer automatically coming out of sleep about 5 seconds after going into sleep. The solution is to either (1) unmount and disconnect any attached USB devices before sleep, or (2) power off and remove card before sleep. |
