87 I cannot get the Tempo SATA E4P to install properly under Windows Home Server.Sep-02-09
Does the card show up in the Device Manager (with a forced installation of the drivers) but will not activate? Doing an install on a fresh drive mounted to the Tempo SATA E4P is especially tricky, as the driver must be manually loaded during the install process. The installation must be done EXACTLY per the instructions provided in the User's Guide. Th error condition encountered is typical of what happens when assumptions are made about the location of the driver. Windows can NEVER search for the driver, it NEVER finds it correctly. It must be navigated to until the file "mvsata.inf" is presented and selected.

404 The Sonnet Tempo SATA card does not work with my Western Digital My Book Premium ES Edition, or Seagate Technology FreeAgent Pro.Mar-02-10
Sonnet Tempo cards are compatible with most external SATA storage. However, external hard drives with USB 2.0/eSATA dual interface based on the Oxford Semiconductor OXU931DS storage controller chip may not be compatible with Mac OS X when connected via SATA. Known issues are kernel panics occurring when the drive is connected, or the drive not being recognized by the operating system.

659 eSATA drives won't mount after updating to OS X 10.7.4Jun-22-12
Sonnet has isolated the occurance of drives not mounting in 10.7.4, which occurs only in 32-bit mode with the Tempo SATA E4P, E4i, and Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard/34. Users running in 64-bit mode will not experience any issue. (To boot in 64-bit, hold down the 6 and 4 keys when the Mac starts up.) Install driver 2.2.9 or greater to fix the 32-bit mode issue.
