| Which HDMI adapter should I use to connect an HDMI monitor to an Echo Express Thunderbolt PCIe Expansion Chassis' Thunderbolt port? | Mar-19-15 |
| For video up to and including 1080p (1920x1080), Sonnet recommends either the "Moshi Mini DP to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support" or the "Griffin Mini DisplayPort to HDMI with Audio + DVI". Many other adapters are poorly designed and have issues with proper color space.
For video up to and including 4k (3840x2160) which is supported by Thunderbolt 2, Sonnet recommends the Accell B086B-005B-2 Ultra Display Port 1.1 to HDMI 1.4 Adapter. |

| Why isn't a rack slide set included? | May-23-19 |
| Sonnet wanted to support both deep server room racks as well as shallow portable racks (the xMac mini server is only 18" deep.) Because we couldn't accomodate the full range of rack depths, we unbundled the rack kits to give the users the flexibility to mount the xMac mini Server in racks 18" to 32.5" deep. |

| Matrox Cards do not support Windows 10 Fast Startup option. | Nov-30-23 |
| When using Matrox Cards in a Thunderbolt Expansion chassis, you need to disable Fast Startup under Windows 10.
To disable Fast Startup, first, open your power options by hitting Windows+X or right-clicking your Start menu and selecting Power Options. In the Power Options window, click "Choose what the power buttons do."
If this is the first time you've messed with these settings, you'll need click "Change settings that are currently unavailable" to make the Fast Startup option available for configuration.
Scroll to the bottom of the window and you should see "Turn on fast startup (recommended)", along with other shutdown settings. Just uncheck this box to disable Fast Startup. Save your changes and shut down your system. |
