| When attached to older TVs that do not support Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) version 2.0, the TV does not provide needed resolution data to the Adapter. EDID 2.0 was introduced in September 2006, so a TV older than 10 years or so will not be compatible. |

| Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Displays. If your Mac doesn't recognize a display you've just connected, hold down the Option key to make the Detect Displays button appear, then click that button. |

| If you have a Mac with the T2 security chip:
• iMac Pro
• Mac Pro introduced in 2019
• Mac mini introduced in 2018
• MacBook Air introduced in 2018 or later
• MacBook Pro introduced in 2018 or later
The Sonnet Dual DisplayPort or Dual HDMI Adapter may stop working after the 10.15.6 update. You can try using the Startup Security Utility to set External Boot to "Allow booting from external media." If this is already set, you must set it to "Disallow booting from external media", restart, then set to "Allow booting from external media", and restart.
This issue does not affect all configurations and we cannot reproduce the issue. Please let us know whether you have this issue and whether this procedure solves it for you. |
